WHY?
We have created this event so that all of us who work in the industry can fill that long summer gap between seasons with some more snow!
The Summer Weekender is a chance to catch up with friends, enjoy the Alps and - if you want to - represent your company in the Industry Ski Champs.
Don't take it from us...
One of last years attendeees, said;
"The combination of skiing in the morning and sunny afternoons filled with volleyball/tennis/mountain biking or a refreshing dip in the lake…it really can’t be beaten. The great thing about the weekend was with so many different activities and competitions there was something for everyone, and for those who really aren’t competitive, there’s the evening entertainment, which was mainly uncompetitive – although some of the drinking games did turn a bit serious… ;-)"
James Gambrill, Travel Plan
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
To travel on the Summer Weekender, you must be currently working (in the UK or Alps) for a tour operator, chalet company, travel agent, retailer, distributor or other employer in the snowsports industry.
Season workers who worked last winter, or will be working this winter, are also eligible.
You do not need to have a full team to participate - individuals are very welcome and can take part in all activities, and even for the Team Dual Slalom will will try to find a team for you to join!
SUMMER ACTIVITIES IN TIGNES
Tignes has a huge range of activities on offer in the summer, including volleyball, mountain biking, tennis, golf, canyoning, kayaking, scuba diving, the new aquatic centre, horse riding, via ferrata and hiking to name but a few.

HOW TO BOOK
For more information about booking, please click here.
Avoid disappointment and book early
FREE lift passes will be allocated to the first 40 people on a first come, first-served basis and apply only when payment has been made in full.
Please note Natives is organising this trip through Skiworld Special Events and that their T&Cs apply to all bookings.
GETTING THERE AND BACK
We recommend travelling by train to Bourg St Maurice as the lowest-carbon option. Train travel can be booked by contacting Rail Canterbury. Alternatively a car with two or more people also generates fewer emissions than flying.
However, we recognise that the time and cost might not be suitable for everyone.
So if you intend to fly, we suggest you book your flights early - prices are currently £40-50 each way. Options include:
Geneva - British Airways fly from Gatwick & Heathrow; EasyJet from loads of places (Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Liverpool, East Midlands & Edinburgh); Swiss from London City Airport
Lyon - EasyJet from Stansted and bmi from Heathrow
Grenoble - Ryanair from Stansted
Cars can be hired from Holiday Autos for as little as £65. Or for transfers from Geneva, Coolbus can provide transfers each way for up to six people for £150, or Europe Transfer can take up to 8 people for EUR300.
