THE NATIVES SHOW LOVE TOUR 2008/09

PartygoersShowing Love in Meribel
Last night the Show Love Tour hit Le Pub in Meribel with a big bang. The party started when Natives reporter Emma hit the apres scene to catch up with the Nissan All Mode crew who are sponsoring Le Pub all season. The Nissan campaign is taking place in five resorts: Verbier, Meribel, Tignes, Livigno and Garmisch. It's totally free - just turn up to the Nissan All Mode park in resort, ride through it and you'll be able to access some knarly photos of yourself, all for free. The launch party in Meribel is taking place this Saturday at Le Pub...

The guys at Le Pub couldn't have been more helpful and when the season workers arrived in their droves they were greeted by Ben, Natives events man, with a Crystal goody bag and an Extreme Drink to get the party goers going. We were in for a treat as Fourplay rocked the dance floor and there were even some locals doing a bit of improptu swing for everyone's entertainment! It was dumping down outside but that didn't stop three of the Pub staff arriving in what can only be described as 80s freak show outfits, including shorts and hawiian shirts!

PrizewinnerAmazing prizes from our sponsors

Thanks to our sponsors, we had over £700 worth of FREE prizes to hand out last night, plus everybody received a goody bag from Crystal with t-shirts from Freeride.fr and drinks from Extreme. Last night our local partners Freeride.fr were kind enough to donate a pair of Dynastar Trouble Makers with bindings, and the lucky winner looked completely dumbfounded as Ben from the band called out his winning number. Duncan from Oxford won the skis from Freeride.fr and we were pleased to know that he was a dedicated season workers having done five seasons in Meribel working in a chalet. What a Natives night. Other thrilled winnners receives Ski Club Goody bags, gloves from Swany, hats from Chaos and a hoody and t-shirt from Greeneye.

A ltitude Festival 2009
Three of our lucky winners walked away with tickets to the Altitude Festival which takes place in here in Meribel 18 March - 03 April. You can read more about the Festival in Tribe magazine #6, due out in January, incuding an interview with Marcus Brigstocke, one of the founders of the festival.
