Customers can now book online at Crystal Holiday's
new website.
Although
many ski sites claim to offer online booking, Crystal
have followed Inghams
and made the whole of their programme available by
linking it with their database.
When
Natives tested, the Crystal system was very user friendly
and the best ski booking system we have seen so far.
Unlike
the Inghams initial offer, prices are the same as
the brochure, although all holidays booked before
30 June go into a draw to win back your holiday for
free.
Our
only concern with the booking system is regarding
the important area of security. Regular users of the
Internet will be familiar with the 'padlock' icon
indicating that a site is secure.
This
does not appear in the Crystal booking area and could
alarm potential buyers. However, the Crystal site
is secure; the reason you will not see the usual security
alert nor see the padlock is simply to do with the
structure of the site.
If
you do want to book and want to be sure it's secure,
you can avoid this problem by right clicking on the
link to the booking area and selecting 'open in new
window'.
