Following on from our news of 007's
booze-buying in Chamonix last winter (Natives News 26/11), another report of this night
out has reached Natives from 'Skippy':
'My brush with fame in Wallabies was quite
an unbelievable story to say the least - most people
think I made it up! The truth is that we were
out having a quiet drink when a friend noticed someone
behind me needing a light.
Without looking to see who it was I turned
round to find James Bond in front of me. Even
better, when I did light Pierce's cigarette the flame
was set too high and I almost destroyed his perfect
eye-brows!'
Bond Natives understands was shaken, but not
burned...
