SISTERS SHOW FAITH ON THE SLOPES

Nuns Strap On Skis
You might expect a group of nuns to garden or bake in their free time. But these sisters like to cruise the cat tracks when they need a break from the convent.

They are the sisters of Mount Saint Michael’s Academy in Spokane, Washington. They've also made a name for themselves as the famous "singing nuns" but the sisters traded in their notes for the slopes on their annual ski trip. The sisters say they enjoy the speed and the chance to admire the glory of nature from the lifts.

Although they admit the bright blue dresses and habits can get in their way, the nuns say even as they're sailing across the snow they're representing their faith.
