The
Ride/Nixon JibbNight
is on its way over to the UK on 2nd November at Chatham dryslope.
Grab your board and boots and for £15 have a go on the UK's longest
toboggan run.
Open entry
It's open entry for snowboarders, none of that invite-only stuff
and if you get there early enough there's free stickers, posters,
FUEL II DVDs for all riders whilst stocks last. Register at 4pm
and you can ride for an hour before the rails are fully open 5-8pm.
Session whatever you like with whoever you like and make sure you
get the rider vote. There are no judges, there is no mark scheme,
you ride, you decide.
Great prizes
The winner of male/female/junior categories will nab themselves
a brand spanking new Ride snowboard, second will be going home with
a set of Ride bindings and third place will be enough to grab a
pair of Osiris skate shoes. If you get win best trick you'll be
the proud owner of a Just Add Water backpack filled with a fleece,
Nixon t-shirt, Nixon cap, Nixon beanie and best of all a shiny bling-bling
Nixon watch.
For those of you who don't think you'll be placing in the top 3
you've still got a good chance of going home with a prize, such
as X-Treme DVDs, Nixon Watches, T-shirts, beanies, caps, goggles
etc. These don't necessarily go to the best riders, more to the
guys who are stepping it up out there and challenging their own
limits.
DJs and heaps of rails
There's a live DJ to get the atmosphere pumping but what about the
rails? There are the usual S-Rail, Rainbow Rail, C-Rail, Kinked
Rail, Handrail, Gas Pipe, Step down rail and two snowskate rails
plus the unveiling of the 42ft Animal Rail. If that's still not
enough info for you or you want to see the gallery, check out the
website for some rail
action.
