A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR MONOSKIING

29 July 2003

Bipedalism - evolutionary mistake?
While two feet may be imperative for walking, skiing has suffered too long from the oppression of two legged nonsense. The ability to widen a stance or take a stride has no relevance to a monoskier.

This weakness prompted Igor Ridnovic to invent the world's first Mono Boot. This unique solution is based on a simple concept - one larger boot replaces traditional left and right alpine boots.

One giant step for monoskiing
Mono Boot is here to set the record straight - it is a unique platform that connects you to the monoski like no other equipment before. It proves to other skiers that when you monoski you mean business - Mono Boot is taking monoskiing in to the 21st century in one giant step.

High spec design and futuristic style
The fabrication of Mono Boot was a technologically sophisticated process. High density urethane foam was carved according to computer CAD measurements. Layers of specially formulated fiberglass were added over lightweight core for structural strength with layers of scratch resistant gel coat for glossy finish.

The Monopant

Form, function and fashion too
The folks from Mono Boot have also developed the Monopant, taking the plural out of pants. This single sleeve pant is a unique garment tailored to address the specific needs of monoskiers, with a radical departure from tracitional outerwear by fusing two leggings into one providing exceptional warmth and comfort, adding a touch of invaluable style to the fashion deprived monocommunity.
