Poncin Takes it Up a Knotch in Hundfjallet

Marc Poncin (36, Les Arcs) took one step higher on the podium today (3/4/03) in Hundfjallet, Sweden in the latest FIS World Cup Speed Ski Event.

Poncin took Silver achieving speeds of 169.14 km/h to add to the World Championship bronze he won at the weekend in Salla, Finland.

This completes the podium set for the British Speed Ski Team, Nigel Brockton having won Gold in the first World Cup of the season in Loser, Austria.

The Pro World Championships and potential World and British Records beckon on the fastest track in the world in Les Arcs later this month.
