And now the serious fun starts
The madness of February over, now some
time to enjoy (and no queues at the Biollay lift). Although the
pistes were packed and you really had to think about how to avoid
some queues the Ski Lodge remained "comfortably busy" - something
to do with the resort being full of French and families around the
manic half term time. For the first time in 4 years it didn't dump
with snow on the main Saturday transfer day, so we just had the
"normal" traffic delays to deal with.
Gossip and piste bashing
Lots of sunshine and burnt faces, some great skiing and the usual
scandals of workers relationships starting up and breaking up. No
secrets in a ski resort - especially one so small as La Tania.
A few more crashes, but no serious injuries mainly due to the good
snow conditions (except a scary temporary memory loss after a bash
on the head to a certain female boarder - helmets are cool now you
know!). Tracks down to Bozel were spotted for the first time in
4 years - not sure who to believe, too many people claiming them.
Get out your horns
The annual Tim Wall's horn AGM took place over in Pralognan (the
small resort at the end of the valley that no one ever goes to but
still gives you a free day with a season 3 Valleys pass).

A lot more people crossing over with skiers
boarding and vice versa - the us & them attitude from a few
years ago seems to have gone (the banter continues though...).
Arial tricks
More people planning to Paraglide solo as well, better them than
me.A great photo opportunity though
- check out this unusual aerial view of La Tania: Lots of new chalets
that you normally don't see to the right of the pic - all the old
(10 years!) resort to the left.

So with Bond night at Dicks,
Mardi Gras, St Patricks Day, The Workers Challenge and The Shaker
- there's lot's more too look forward to in March but only 6 weeks
left 'til the end!!!!!
