After a fairly quiet start to the
season, everything has erupted over the last week or so. The snow
conditions for this time of year are fantastic, and there is a good
covering now all the way back to the village, and up top the conditions
are incredible. At least a couple of feet of now has fallen over
the last week or so, and now the blue skies have come.
And in the evenings...
Nightlife has realy kicked off, the resort is packed with party-goers
and the streets are constantly full at 2am when the bars kick out.
Smokey Joes do some great
tex Mex food and their full english breakfasts are ledgendary, REAL
ENGLISH BREAD!!!! Corrigans
has been the hunt of Crystal Staff all over the resort and a good
night out is always guaranteed, with classic sing-along tunes played
every night.
 A
new Smithies bar has
opened up and seems to be getting the same reputation as its counterpart
in Alp d'Huez, crazy nights in a big bar. The Red Frog is the best
place in resort to watch the English football, showing games almost
every night. It has freindly English bar staff as well as a good
selection of food including full english.
The Secret Bar is still
popular with the First Choice & Skiworld staff, with their hotel
above. Opera is still
the place to go after the pubs shut, with friendly (& fit!!) bar
staff and a great atmosphere when you want to dance to some decent
tunes.
