"Mid-sesh munchies between
the unholy Trinity..." Life trundles on here at a hectic pace. A week of beautiful sunshine sking topped off with a weekend of snow, and snow on Boxing Day. The workers' week ended last Wednesday night with Scottie's hosting the first of many theme nights to come (including a beach party with real sand by all accounts!). This week Back to Skool provoked most into some form of fancy dress, with alcoholic consumption to match. The result was a wierdly quiet Thursday, with most people's day off being reduced to an exercise in avoiding sunlight and loud noises, and trying not to throw up off chair lifts Cream took off on Monday at the Kandahar, with Paul Kane and DJ Marcus spinning. Cream at the Kandahar continues in January with Paul Bleasdale and DJ Marcus again. It's sure to be packed. Life continues to rotate around the unholy trinity - Scottie's, Bar Cuba and Kartouche, with mid sesh munchies being taken at the Snack Attack. I must stop eating Burritos definiately no need to drive to Landeck (read Bourg St. Maurice) for Maccie D's here! Oh yeah, nearly forgot why we're here: Skiing continues to be good with all but a few runs open. The funpark at Lech was being constructed last Thursday, and the Half pipe and a couple of tables are made, but the area is skiied through by so many people, that jumping is annoyingly difficult. The Rendl mountain at St. Anton is now open too, and was certainly the best skiing last week. No doubt that will change with the current snowfall. No park yet on the Rendl annoyingly it will come Hopefully enough snow fell over the last few days to remove the icy patches forming at the bottom of the Gampen beolw the KK and Mooserwirt. Bis später! Alastair (aus Tirol! Da nah nah nah)
