| MCKENNA DISAPPOINTED IN AROSA |

After an excellent start to the season with top five World Cup results in Tignes and Whistler, a mistake in her second run left her in 10th overall. A narrowly cut halfpipe made conditions difficult for all competitors. While in qualification Lesley was placed 5th, Fabienne Reuteler (SUI) took her first World Cup win of the season, with several unheard of names finishing in the top six. Melanie Leando, still on the return from injury, fell in her qualification round and did not place. Both riders now look forward to the World Cup at Alpe d'Huez on Saturday 12th January 2002.
