SNOZONE BIG AIR COMPETITION

Snozone, the Milton Keynes snowdome, is raising the stakes this summer with theirfirst Big Air Competition to be held on Saturday 14 July 2001

The competition will use a 2.5m high table top, with a 5-6m landing slope that should test entrants in the snowboarder, skier and ski boarder categories.


Format:

The format is planned to be 2-3 runs each in qualifying, with the best jump qualifying for the final. In the final itself, there will be three jumps with the best two added together for the final score. The Super Finals will be just one jump per competitor.

Schedule:

Registration closes: 1330
Practice: 1500-1600
Qualification: 1615
Finals: Approx 1900-1930
Super Finals: Approx 2100
Prize Ceremony: Approx 2130

Prizes:

Prizes include a grand prize of a weekend at the G-Shock Air & Style courtesy of Tirol Tourist Board. Held in Seefeld (14 -16 December) this spectacular competition is now the heart and soul of a jamming-riding long weekend.
