Simply Ski won the Best Skiing Company section of this year's Guardian/Observer Travel Awards.

Strangely Simply did not feature in last year's top ten at all, while Mark Warner, winners in 2000, this year did not feature at all. Otherwise there was almost no change in the top ten.

In the larger category of Best Travel Company, Simply Travel were placed 6th overall for the second consecutive year. Inghams were placed 17th in the same category.
