No apologies for the lack of updates from deepest Eastern Tyrol, but at Bar Cuba we have been having a storming season. Combined with the World Championships and this year's hyper group of workers, it's been frantic!

The World Champs were a fantastic PR event on TV for the town - it's been buzzing ever since. In the bar it's been varied - a great atmosphere, but thousands of partisan Austrians who arrived wildly drunk on the first train at 7am and left on the last by idnight....crazeeee!!!!

Anyway, we have all recovered and are eagerly looking forward to the rest of the season especially as over the last couple of nights we have had at least a metre of new white stuff and it's still chucking down with temperatures expecting to drop to -14degrees by the weekend.

Next Tuesday (27th Feb) is one of the whackiest days on our calendar and should be another great night out. It's Carnival week here which is celebrated with much fancy dress and alcohol consumption by all.

Traditionally one of the bars organises a 'X-dressing party' for resort staff which we will be doing in Bar Cuba. It is the day when the men in the resort scare the living daylights outta the women with attempts akin to the efforts made by ladyboys in Thailand.
