Yesterday the
British Ski Team received a massive boost to their spirits
and finances as over £30,000 was raised at a fundraising
auction at Christie's
in London.
 Alain
Baxter, Johnny Moulder-Brown and Emma Carrick-Anderson will
use the funds to help with their preparation for next year's
Winter Olympic games at Salt Lake City.
This unique evening was supported
by 750 ski lovers, including celebrities such as Billy Zane
and Big Brother stars Craig, Tom and Nick. Guests were also
able to view lots for today's James Bond sale, including
Ursula Andress' famous 'Dr No' bikini (shown on the right
and sold at auction for £40,000!).
Thanks and congratulations should
go to ex-British Team racers, Konrad Bartelski, Adam Sullivan
and Graham Bell as well as the many sponsors of the evening
who provided the superb collection of prizes (shown below).
