CARDRONA UPDATE - SENSATIONAL!

12 September 2000

Cold temperatures overnight (-7º) have kept the snow in squeaky dry condition. All main trails are being groomed nightly with 100% of ALL terrain open and absolutely covered in snow. Current snow base is between 1.1-1.8 metres. All up in excess of a metre of new snow fell in the last week.

While spring skiing is the expectation, conditions are driest winter and look set to stay that way for a while.

Three pipes, Monster, Johnny & Phat Albert are shaped up and open on rotation daily. International is getting a rebuild. Wonderpark is fly'n.

All roads in excellent condition. Crown range from Queenstown is at its best, dry and smooth.

Coming up next week:

Monday 17th Pulsate Boardriderz
Sat/Sun 23/24 Casio G Shock Grommets snowboarding champs.
