With about 4cm of new snow over
the last 4 days and 10cm new snow expected, conditions
in Cardrona are looking up.
Nigel Kerr from
Cardrona tells the story: 'The upper mountain now
has light granular snow on the lower trails and the
off piste is starting to fill in with wind drift and
is becoming both grippy and fun.'
The current snow
base is between 25 - 75cm with 100% of trails and
70% of off-piste open with all lifts and facilities
are operating.
The Wonderpark
2000 is starting to shape up and all of Cardrona is
looking ahead to this weekend and the K2 Snowboard
Challenge.
