Hi there,
Did you ever see the movie Aspen Extreme? Two buddies head to Aspen, mix it up with the jet-set, one dies in an avalanche, one wins World Powder 8s with crazy 'extreme' pairs skiing. It was the ultimate snow and cheese fest. We could be up for more of the same with snowboard drama "Whistler".
Yeehah...

The current boss would like the bar to go to a good home, so that he can "give a great opportunity to some young and talented people to take advantage of rather than selling it on to some faceless chain".
 Chance to buy after a year...
The planwould be for you to take it on 'location gerance' next season - which means you run it, while somebody else does all the legal/accounts for you. Then, if all goes well, you'll get the opportunity to buy the whole business the year after. This gives time to complete all the legal formalities required in France (often a six month process, itself).
